Whole School Attendance: 91.6% - Remember to report absences to the school office by 9:00am

Total Lates this week:  104 late marks – Children arriving after 8:45am will be marked as late and parents will be asked to sign children in via the screen in the school office. If you are struggling to get your child to school on time or have concerns about your child being late, our PFSA Mrs Bedford will be available most mornings to offer support.

 

Whole School:

  • Children who read and are read to at age three make greater progress in creative development at the end of reception than those who are not.

 

  • Please be mindful when parking around the school and remain polite when speaking with our neighbours. There is NO stopping on the zigzags outside the school gate, this is to keep your children safe.

 

  • Please ensure your child has sun cream applied before school, has a sun hat and a drink.

 

  • The book fayre is on Tuesday and Wednesday after-school in the hall.

 

  • Tycoon club will be selling summer fun items after school on Friday 5th July.

 

Year 3/4/5 Girls Football Opportunity:

Bridgwater Untied are launching a new U11s Girls team this coming season and are looking for girls to come and take part! This is open to any current year 3s, 4s and 5s of all abilities. They are running a ‘Taster Session’ in a couple of weeks for those that wish to be part of the squad this year. Please see the details below:

Saturday 20th July 2024: 10am start - 11am finish
Bridgwater & Taunton College - Bridgwater Campus, Bath Road, Bridgwater, TA6 4PZ
Please ensure your child has shin pads and boots. If you wish to attend the taster session or cannot attend but want to be part of the squad, you must fill out the following form: https://forms.office.com/e/SiPXR54t7t

Year 1:

  • Year 1 Brean Beach trip is on Thursday, please ensure you have given consent, without consent your child will not be able to attend. School packed lunches can be ordered via SchoolGrid.

 

Year 2:

  • Year 2 swimming is on Monday please send your child with their swimming kit and towel.

 

  • Year 2 will have a fire safety assembly during school on Tuesday.

 

  • Year 2 WSM trip is on Friday, please ensure you have given consent, without consent your child will not be able to attend. School packed lunches can be ordered via SchoolGrid.

 

 

Year 5:

  • Year 5 will have a fire safety assembly during school on Tuesday.
