Year 5 Letters
Weston Super Mare – YEAR 5 – 20th May 2025
Where are we going? We are catching the train to and from Weston Super Mare.
Why are we going there? This trip is linked to our Geography topic “Why do oceans matter?” We will be collecting data on litter.
When are we going there? Tuesday 20th May
What should children bring? Please ensure that children bring a drink and appropriate clothing based on the weather (hat/coat).
What about lunch? You can order a school packed lunch via Innovate or you can provide a home packed lunch.
What should children wear? Children will need to wear their normal school uniform.
How much will it cost? The cost of the trip is £5. This is heavily subsidised by the school. Parents of Pupil Premium children, please contact the office about the cost. Please note that if we do not receive enough funding support, it will not be possible for the trip to go ahead.

Vivary Park High Ropes – Year 5 – Wednesday 18th June 2025
Where are we going? |
The high ropes activity centre in Vivary park, Taunton. |
Why are we going there? |
This trip is to support the children’s well–being and mental health in a positive way and allow them to experience new things that they may not have before. |
When are we going there? |
The trip will take place on Wednesday 18th June 2025. We will leave school at 9 AM and hope to return by 3 PM. |
What should children bring? |
No money will be needed by the children on the day. |
What about lunch? |
You can order a school packed lunch via Innovate or you can provide a home packed lunch. |
What should children wear? |
Children will need to wear old/comfortable clothes and trainers that are suitable for climbing. |
How much will it cost? |
