At Eastover Primary, we are exploring careers. This includes understanding different jobs, linking careers to the curriculum, increasing employer encounters and challenging stereotypes.

Year 6 had great fun exploring construction with a competition to see who could build the tallest structure using only dried spaghetti and string!

Year 5 were fascinated to learn all about radiation and how they would have to protect themselves in the workplace.

One of our very own Governors came in to talk to the children in Year 3 about her former career as a headteacher!

Year 2 and 3 enjoyed a visit from the Teddy Bear hospital! 

Ibis Hotel

Year 4 had an introduction to the hospitality industry from the Ibis hotel. The children enjoyed experiencing the virtual hotel rooms!

Foundation Stage and Year 1 children loved the chance to experience a variety of different careers through role-play.
